Quantitative Trader
About the Position
Traders work to identify and trade on pricing inefficiencies, develop models, manage risk, and explore new products and new business areas. New traders work with senior traders in the beginning while they ramp up their learning of the market and the business, getting more responsibility as they demonstrate a deeper understanding of the market.
Our trading process employs a quantitative approach and has a strong focus on technology.
About You
We are looking for people who have a strong quantitative background and enjoy working in a team setting to solve challenging problems. Prior knowledge of finance or economics is not required. Experience with particular programming languages is also not required, although generally being comfortable programming in your language of choice is a plus.
Software Engineer, Trading Infrastructure
About the position
The Software Engineer will be working in a team environment to develop and maintain our internal trading engine. He will be focused on C++ functionality, alongside our Quant/Traders who will also be hands on with C++. You will be responsible for creating and optimizing scalable, multi-tiered applications and infrastructure. We are looking for someone who will be able to solve difficult technical problems in a fast-paced and energetic environment.
About You
Strong Computer programming skills using C++ in a Linux environment
Strong understanding of computer systems e.g. operating systems, networks, performance optimization, etc
Experience in Object-Oriented design and Multithreaded programming
Experience in creating/supporting cross-platform multithreaded applications
Ideally some experience in developing low-latency systems
Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or a related field
